Pasta with tuna and red onion

Ingredients for 4 servings:
– pasta (penne) 400 gr.,
– tuna in water 250 gr.,
– 2 large red onions,
– 4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil,
– fresh parsley,
– chili pepper,
– salt.

In a pan, fry lightly chopped onions in olive oil, add the tuna, parsley, a pinch of salt and chili pepper. Cook and drain pasta, add the sauce previously prepared and mix well. Serve the dish with parsley and a little olive oil.

Notes: very tasty dish. The red onion is rich in flavonoids (especially quercetin), natural antioxidants very important to prevent the degenerative chronic diseases. The red onion has also good antibacterial properties.
